🃏 APLPT Poker Series Wraps Up at SkyCity Adelaide with Record Prize Pool! 🃏

Last weekend, poker enthusiasts from all over South Australia flocked to SkyCity casino in Adelaide to participate in the highly anticipated APLPT (Australian Poker League Poker Tour) series. The 6-day event proved to be an unforgettable experience, offering an incredible series prize pool of $982,280, surpassing the previous year's June series by a staggering $359,240.

With 30 exciting events spread across the series, players had the chance to compete in a range of buy-ins, from $80 to $2,500, catering to both casual players and seasoned professionals. The intense competition and electrifying atmosphere made it an unforgettable poker extravaganza.

🥇 Event #8 - Nicholas Huntley Crowned APLPT Main Event Champion 🥇

The standout performance of the series came from Adelaide's own Nicholas Huntley, who etched his name in history as the APLPT Champion in Event #8. The 36-year-old predominantly cash game player achieved his best tournament poker result to date, securing victory amidst a field of 859 entries. With his fiancé Kara Bailey providing unwavering support from the rail, Huntley managed to outplay his opponents and claim the title. His remarkable win earned him an impressive prize of $21,845*, along with an exclusive $100K Invitational Seat and a coveted APL Million Seat.

🥇 Event #6 - Qing Ye Becomes APLPT Centurion 🥇

In Event #6, it was Qing Ye who emerged victorious, earning the title of the latest APLPT Centurion champion. After three days of intense competition, Qing struck a heads-up deal with Marco Perri to secure the top spot. Despite being short-stacked for most of the tournament, Qing's tenacity and strategic play led him to a well-deserved victory. The 35-year-old Melburnian walked away with $35,575 and a $100K Invitational Seat.

🥇 Event #16 - David White Claims the High Roller Title 🥇

Event #16 showcased the thrilling action of high-stakes poker, and it was David White who dominated the competition to claim the High Roller title. With an outstanding performance, White secured a remarkable payday of $69,430 and earned himself a $100K Invitational Seat, setting the stage for his future poker endeavors.

🥇 Event #26 - Yan Wen Yee Takes Down the Monster Stack 🥇

The final day of the APLPT series saw Yan Wen Yee triumph in the Monster Stack event. The Melburnian poker pro, who recently won the Albury Deep Freeze, continued his impressive run of results throughout 2023 with this victory. Yan Wen Yee's skills and determination earned him $13,570, as well as a $1,500 APL Million Seat and a $100K Invitational Seat, cementing his status as a force to be reckoned with on the poker circuit.
